Lots of time...

There is still lots of time to enjoy the wonderful days of summer! We have had the most awesome weather this year. For my card I used "the BIG GUY grillin" by Mo Manning. This was suppose to be my Father's Day card this year, but I did not get it done in time. A couple of weeks ago, Stamping Bella had a challenge to paper piece....I was so inspired by all the cards submitted that I decided to have a try at this paperpiecing. After paperpiecing the big guys shirt,I took some copic markers to give it a bit of shading. I coloured the image with copics as well as prismas and lyras.
I hope you have some fantastic weather where you are...and can get some grillin' going!

A little summer still left....

There is still a little summer left until the kids go back to school...I just love when they are home, enjoying there free time! Mind you, it has been a busy one, one has a job, hockey, soccer and dirt biking! Lots of summer fun! We are lovin' every minute of it!

I just purchased this stamp at Stamping Bella called "Lacie with Ice Cream" by Mo Manning. I coloured this little cutie with copics, used one of my favourite EK punches from Michaels, and then have added some embossed swirls using the cuttlebug.

I hope you are able to enjoy some wonderful summer weather.... Thank-you for taking the time out of your day to come and visit, I so appreciate your visits!

Summer time fun....

I have not been the best blogger this summer...we have had the best weather these last couple of months and I am so enjoying every minute of it. Once fall hits you tend to hibernate a little more, so that gives me lots of time to make cards! I have some wonderful images that I can hardly wait to colour up! I am seeing so many of you getting a great start to your Christmas cards. That is something that I need to do.

I received this adorable hAnglar from a special blogging buddy..... I fell in love with this little girl riding her bike. I have been playing alot with distress inks...and sooo loving them.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. Thank-you so much for popping in and visiting, I know how hard that can be this time of year!

basket full of daisies....

There are so many things I just love about summer...the weather, fresh strawberries, trips to the beach, spending lots of time with the kids, oh heck my list could go on forever! Another is going for walks down our country road and on the side are the patches of wild daisies that come up every year that we pick and then place in a vase to put on the kitchen table! So for my card today this is from the stamp set Vintage Picnic that I have used MANY times. I stamped my image on to Kraft cardstock...then coloured in the image with a white gel pen...I thought that was the easiest way to get that white stark look of a freshly picked Daisy!

Very simple I must say...but cute! What happened to lazy hazy days of summer...I am going crazy with lots to do! Anyone else... busy busy! Once the kids finish up school it will settle down I am sure! Well, have a wonderful day and thank-you so much for the visit!
