Christmas is love with all the trimmings.....

Oh I was so pleased to see Winter Wonderlands challenge this week.....Penguins and Polar Bears!
I thought I would create a card using my circle nestability dies to make some cute little polar bears! I see so many using the circuit or punches to create the cutest animals....so I thought I would try and see if I could make some polar bears snuggling in the snow!
The snow in the background is using the liquid applique, which I really think I am addicted to right now. The edges of the polar bears I sponged with a soft brown chalk and then added a little glitter to their fur. I then stitched around my card with my handy sewing machine! I am so glad that I am able to add this to my Christmas card collection.
Well, I am off...have a wonderful weekend!

  20. Oh I LOVE it! It's brilliant, Christine! Love the simplicity of the design, the sentiment and the stitching. The polar bears are adorable - I'm thinking part of a word window for baby bear's snout but what is mama bear's snout made from? Hugs, Lesley
