Merry Everything....

Merry Everything is the name of this stamp set from MFT that I have fallen in love with this year! It is the year of the reindeer for me...last year it was snowman now its the reindeer. I coloured up this little guy with prismas and then cut each one out and then popped him up on each window!
Trying to get my Christmas cards going so that I am not in a last minute panic! I am hoping to get some snowman chocolate bar posts up this weekend with a card! So please stay tuned! Have a wonderful day!

Pop up card....

Nothing like a cool rainy day to make you want to escape to the craft room and get a head start on your Christmas cards..... This is a new release from Dreamerland Crafts which comes with image and die. It is called " My Perfect Buddy ".
I found this surprise pop card on Splitcoast Stampers...how cute is this. Thank-you to this site for giving great directions to make this style of card. Here is the link. I love how you pull the back pull tag and it slowly reveals at the front, the sentiment! I need a bit of practice to try and do this a bit better....
I sponged the background with distress inks, tumbled glass and sapphire blue. And coloured up the image with prismas pencils. Added some white gel pen dots. Thank-you Heidi at Pointer Crafts for letting me play with these adorable images! The dies cut out beautifully!
Well it seems I am getting a head start on Christmas cards...thank-goodness. Thank-you for popping in for a visit!

Snow Globe.....

I made a little trip to Michaels Craft Store today and it was getting filled with lots of Christmas stuff! Lots of inspiration filled my head....I saw these little glass containers and thought I would try and make a snow globe using it! Now, first attempts aren't always the best but I sure had fun trying to make this little snow globe.
I coloured the image with prismas and added a bunch of tiny white beads I found at Michaels and filled the inside....

Extremely simple design...but I am going to be back with another one because practice is fun and I really like the idea! I also went to the dollar store and found a bit different glass containers I might try out as well! Stayed tuned!!!!

It's a start ....

 Happy Card Making Day.....
On that note, I have started making my Christmas cards. I have seen so many beautiful and cute Christmas cards out in blog land. So it has totally inspired me to get going. Because before you know it we will run out of time.
I sponged the sky with distress inks and then sponged the trees as well. I coloured up these cuties with prismas and cut them out and placed them in the snow banks.

Have a wonderful day....

Little girls Christening card....

Wow...this is a chilly morning here! What a difference a week makes. Last week hot and humid this weekend freezing! I needed a Christening card for a little girl. Love working with pink and white. I made a little box with an acetate window to see the card inside. I made little flowers with pearls.
Very simple but pretty I thought.  A few pearls too!

Have a wonderful fall weekend!

Harvest mouse....

Our weather in Ontario is not fall like at all...we are in a heat wave! I am not complaining one bit because before you know it cold days will be upon us here. I have been escaping the heat and making lots of Christmas cards for this year.....along with this autumn card.
This Autumn mouse from MFT is a favourite of mine. I sponged distress inks along the bottom and placed this little guy across the bottom! I coloured with prismas...I totally forgot the glitter!

Happy Fall to all.....

Pumpkin Time....

Oh my goodness it has been awhile....Life has a way of getting in the way of creating cards! But the pressure was on as I needed some Autumn/Birthday cards....which is great as it gives you that push.
I wanted to create a barn like door that swung open....so this way my attempt to make that vision into a card. I made some pumpkins and coloured up some adorable My Favourite Things stamps called Cool cat..... When you don't make cards for a bit you become very rusty I tell ya!
I have been working on some Christmas cards to post at a later date so stay tuned. My blogging friend Marianne has been making them and posting and it has got me going. Thank-you Marianne!
Have a wonderful fall day in your neck of the woods!
