Advent Calendar Card...

Another card to add to the growing pile...

I had this idea for an advent calendar card...mmmm....not sure that I am so happy with it.  I used some new Purple Onion Stamps that came in the mail last week. I coloured all my images with Prisma Pencils....added ALOT of snow. I find snow hides lots of those not so perfect areas.

Have you been working away at your Christmas cards or do you find you are a bit behind? I think this year cards are really going to be a real welcome to the mailbox!

Get the Christmas Tree- check

I have chosen a bit of theme this year with my Christmas seems it is trees!  I find it so relaxing doing these trees..and it fills up space on these slimline cards which I absolutely love. I used a Purple Onion image on my card and made an attempt to draw up a fence...mmmm not sure it looks that great...but it was fun trying!

I still have so many more to do...but I am waiting for a parcel of stamps coming in the mail...hopefully this week as it includes some stamps for making a few birthday cards! Happy Mail that is for sure!

Have a wonderful day!

Home for the Holidays...

I wanted to have a little car with the family driving home to bring home the family Christmas tree. Seems they came home in a snow storm! I just love adding snow!  I cut out a little area for the lights and added vellum behind it with some lights.... Coloured all my images with prismas and used distress ink to make the sky.

Another card to add to the christmas card list. I may have to briefly make some birthday cards...we have alot of people with November and December birthdays!!!! See ya soon!

Purple Onion stamps have my heart...

I am still plugging away at Christmas cards....slowly!  Does anyone have an stamps on order and patiently waiting for them...that is me! Once Mrs. Mail Lady delivers them (hopefully this week) it will be full steam ahead. I have ordered from Purple Onion stamps and can hardly wait to play. I had these stamps from last year and coloured them up with prismas. I sponged the background with distress inks and added a wee bit of a snowstorm!

I have really enjoyed the Christmas cards people are posting on their blogs. SO MUCH inspiration out there. I am so grateful for blogland.

Have a wonderful day! Thank-you for popping in.

Yah...another Christmas card done..

Having an extra day off this weekend really allowed me to sneak into the craftroom to make another Christmas card...I am so far behind, so hopefully this weekend I can really get going!

I am such a fan of Stamping Bella stamps and so I pulled this adorable image out to colour with prismas. I made an attempt to make it look like a reflection on the ice. Not too sure it looks ok but I will have to practice a bit!

Have a wonderful day! And, thank-you for coming by!

3D box card....

First off, let me apologize for the poor pictures...I really do not take good pictures. I made a box card yesterday and added some trees in the background that I cut out by hand... die cut some rolling snowy hills and added some cute images I coloured with prisma pencils.

Today is another day spent in the craft room to creative many Christmas cards that need to go out this holiday season.

Adding to the growing stash of Christmas cards.....

So a bit of a grey day here, which is kind of nice, so I can get into the craft room and get some Christmas cards done with out the quilt that I should spend some time outdoors before the weather really changes. I have created a slim line card ....very popular out in blog land. I thank blog land for all the inspiration you can get out there! I used a square die to cut the three square out and then stamped three images, coloured with prismas and coloured lots of trees...added snow and glitter and voila another card to add to the stash....

I must get more done...I am thinking I may have to mail out Christmas cards early this year!

Have a wonderful day! And thank-you for visiting!
