My daughter's birthday is this weekend....so I wanted to be sure I made a card for her. So when I saw this image from LOTV....I knew this was the image I wanted to use. She is on her phone constantly (sigh) taking selfies...drives me crazy! LOL I just love these chibitronic lights. They are so neat. I love how if you press the area where the battery is...what you want to light up, lights up!

I coloured up the image with prismas and added some glitter. With a press of the star the phone lights up as she takes a selfie!

Take a moment for you...

I have fallen in love with these Chibitronic lights that everyone is using.  How people are using them on cards is truly amaing. The talent out there in blogland! Thank-you to blog land for inspiring me all the time.  I need to thank Heidi at Pointer for kindly giving me these adorable images from
Dreamerland Crafts to play with and also giving me some of these Chibitronics to try. Thanks Heidi for the hands on tutorial! A shout out to the very talented Debbie Olson who totally inspired me as well with her Chibitronic light card.
This little peanut she is called "Surrounded by Love" and she has curled up with her furball and a good book....my kind of night! With a push on the tab a light appears and lights up her book. I drew the light, sorry not so professional! LOL
Sorry I am a terrible photographer...But hopefully you get a bit of the idea.
Well, I am off to try these lights out on more cards!

Skating Rink....pop up card!

I am looking out my window of my craftroom and it is snowing non stop today and there is more to come tomorrow. Sooooo I had to make another wintery card. I wanted to make a pop up card that folds down into an envelope nicely. It took a bit but I did it.
I wanted this image called Happy Holidays from Dreamerland Crafts to look like they were on a pond with their reflection... So I coloured them up with prisma pencils and popped them up on the ice rink.

I sure hope you have enjoyed time in your craftroom today.....enjoy your day!

Notebook & Pen Holder......thanks to Sandiebella

I cannot tell you how thrilled I was when Sandie over at Stamping Bella shared how she did her awesome Notebook & Pen Holder. She did a great job showing us all how she did it...thank-you Sandie. Go HERE to get her tutorial and if you like, try it out!
Along with that I made some hydrangeas flowers from a tutorial Kittie Kraft shared a few years back. It reminds me of spring...something I am waiting oh so patiently for. I used some adorable LOTV stamps and coloured them up with prismas and added some glitter to the background.

Well....I am off to make more cards...seems I need a few for Valentines and for birthdays as well. Have a wonderful day in your craft room if you can!

Another shadow box card.....

I think I have a bit of an addiction to these shadow like boxes. I have made it so it folds down flat into an envelope to mail. So today I made a valentines/spring card using the ever so adorable Dreamlander stamps. I coloured this image and scene using prisma pencils.
I used a white gel pen and put little hearts on a piece of acetate and placed it in front of my little girl! My hearts on the side panels of the shadow box are from an old Martha Stewart border punch.
I am off to make another project...too cold to play outside so might as well play inside.

Winter Wonderland...outside too!

Back to winter cards.....as it seems winter is going to be still around in this neck of the woods! I wanted to create a 3D card that you could fold down flat to mail....so this was a labour of love as I had no clue how to do it, I just knew what I wanted it to kind of look like! LOL
I had an old Martha Steward snowflake border punch that I punched out 10 times so I had 5 borders on each side....trying to figure out how it was going to lay flat was the tricky part. So I made tabs that you can see on each side.
I placed a piece of acetate in between  which I made snow falling with a white gel pen (thank-you Rana for the gel pen). Now once I posted this I noticed I did not put one bit of glitter...WHAT...I am going to do that later! LOL
I used the DreamerlandCraft stamp set called "Warming Up Together!" and also one of their sentiments....
Here is a bit of a view from the top. Hopefully you have warmer temps were you are!!!!
Have a great weekend!

Golf time....

 Hello New Year....
Time to put aside the Christmas card posts and move on.....I'll miss making Christmas cards for a bit but it was time to make birthday cards, Valentine's cards, Easter Cards and lots of other occasion cards! I needed two birthday cards for friends that are avid golfers!
Nothing fancy and something simple...and 3 Dimensional.

Oh I wish spring was around the corner after making these cards....we have had such cold weather here!
Thank-you for the visit and your comments. I really do appreciate your visit!
