Happy HO HO.....

Merry HO HO....to all......First let me start off by apologizing for my poor picture quality. It is dark and dreary here so it is hard to get good pictures. My Christmas card today is inspired by the ever so talented NORMA....she has inspired me with her cards for years and today I thought I would try my hand at her idea and created a scene card. Thank-you Norma....big fan! For the top picture I created a sleeve to hold my card together using the MFT stamp set and dies.
I then started creating my scene by cutting 5 sleeves. I hand cut the trees and added a bit of glitter to the trees.  I added the Santa that I coloured with prisma pencils. Added some cute reindeer I coloured with prisma pencils on the sides.

I want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful and Healthy New Year!

Ski-SONS Greetings...

I am so far behind this year with Christmas cards....next year I must start earlier. Last year I started in September and that was great! I am hoping to make a few today and get them out to the mail!  I see so many cards out in Blog Land that are just stunning! The talent is unbelievable and the imagination too!
For this card I drew the trees in the background using prisma pencils and lots of white gel pen snowflakes were added. I added two MFT skiers to slid and to do jumps on the moguls! Back in the day I soooo loved skiing! No more spread eagles for me....I may hurt myself!
I hope you are way ahead of the game unlike myself here! Have a wonderful day and enjoy some craftiness!

Merry & Bright....

I saw a gorgeous card on www.limedoodledesign.com and had to total make one like Debby....thank-you Debbie for creating such a beauty and sharing it on your blog...
I coloured on Strathmore Toned Gray paper and what a dream....Debbie has started something for me....I loved this idea. Her card is beautiful and I need lots of practice to achieve what she has but it so fun to try!
We have a postal strike here in Ontario which is really a concern for many of us that like to mail out Christmas cards. So it is a wait and see what will happen. Hopefully it will be resolved and I can mail out my cards especially to those over seas! Hello Marianne!

Time to decorate.....

The decorating has started at our house...slowly! I haven't put up the tree yet though....
I sponged the background with the brick stencil and distress inks I used a front door die and pop dotted it on the front of the brick.  I used my favourite Martha Steward pine punch to make my wreath, made a tiny bow....
I coloured up a Dreamerland image....she is just putting the wreath into place.....then lots of snow dots placed using my white gel pen!
Keep warm and stay in and craft if you can!

Sweet pull tab card...

Finally I am able to get a card up on my blog....life is just so busy lately that I have not had a moment to load up a card. I made this card for someone who had a birthday that loves her horse Cedar....When I saw the new release at Purple Onion Stamps I knew I had to use the horse stamp in the collection. I coloured this card up with copics and add lots of little snow dots with my white gel pen....
I added a pull tab so when you pull the tab it slides Cedar back and forth in his stall.
I sure hope she likes her card....
Have a wonderful day and thank-you for coming by for a visit!

Bringing home the tree card.....

Well..I did get to some Christmas card making using some Dreamerland Crafts stamps.... I coloured up this cute little girl that I made, to look like she was taking this Christmas tree home with her to decorate up for the holidays. I used my prismas and drew lots of trees included the one she is bringing home....
When you open up the card the two images that are apart slide closer together! It is hard to show it on the blog here....
Lots and lots of trees to draw.....lots of snow and glitter!

Well it is another card made....hopefully I can get a few more done in the next few weeks.
Winter seems to be getting closer and closer here...the weather has been cold and wet!
Have a wonderful day and thank-you for popping in!

Birthday pop up card....

I took a tiny break from Christmas card making and made a birthday card that pops up!
I coloured the image with prismas and sponged the background with distress inks!
This is a short post today as I have the day off to totally concentrate on some serious card making for Christmas...and I could not be happier!
Have a wonderful day!
