Hello....back making wintery cards again! I love this little polar bear from Whipper Snapper Stamps.
I coloured him with prismas and then cut him out and placed him on the snow drift.  I made some hearts with my white paste and heart stencil. Still trying to get the knack of that, but I do love the effect it gives.
I am hoping to get into the swing of making cards more often and posting them. Hope you are having a great day!

Th!ank-you.....for being my mama bear

Can you believe it...another card to post. I had bought this adorable stamp set awhile back and wanted to get a card made. So I finally had time yesterday and did so. Once again, very simple because simple is actually allows me to get some cards made...LOL
I coloured these two adorable bears with prismas and added a hint of glitter.

Marianne, you asked on my last post were I got the little mouse stamp. It was purchased at MFT stamps and its called Harvest Mouse. Too adorable that set I must say!

Well I am off to shop for more stamps to get my mojo going a bit! See you soon.

A little spring....

A few spring colours used in these cards.....can you tell I am longing for a bit of spring here!  The card above was coloured using distress inks and the card below was with prismas.  It's been so long since I have had time to get cards made which is no fun at all. So this weekend I was able to do a few.

I know they are quite simple but for me these days that is all I can seem to get done. LOL I so love all the cards I see out in blog land.
Thank-you for popping in for a visit and have a wonderful day!

Snowy day....

Busy busy...making my Christmas cards to mail out in the next couple of days.....I used some vellum to put in front of my background trees....I also just received my new MFT harvest mouse stamp set and had to make him look a little more Christmasy! LOL
Kept it a bit simple with little guy by just colouring him with prismas and then paper piecing his sweater. Cutting out the trees was the work really.  I just embossed stars and the sentiment on the vellum. Done! to mail them all out as I made quite a few.

Well off to make some birthday cards that have to go in the next couple of weeks....Busy Busy!

Finally, a post on my blog! I know, it has been a long time! But, I made a list of things that had to get done this weekend and Christmas tags and Christmas cards were a must! It is no secret around here that snowman are my favourite.....can you tell! LOL
I coloured up this adorable snowman with prismas, sponged the background with black soot distress inks and added lots of snow! And of course, added the glitter!
I also got busy with Christmas tags! I bought some wrapping paper from Chapters that will match beautifully with my tags. I am crazy about everything matching!

Have a wonderful day and thank-you for popping in!

Hello Everyone....I pulled out an adorable and very loved Stamping Bella stamp to watercolour  up. I also tried doing some shading with prismas and it did work. I made this card for my daughter. Just because........
I also used my newly purchased C.C. Designs alphabet die. Love this handy die. I just diecut them three times and glued them together so it added a bit of depth.
Kerri, you did ask me how I did my stars on my last card. I used a star stencil with paste and applied it with a knife. You just spread the paste across the stencil evenly.
I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Happy Vacation Time...

My post today is dedicated to all the vacationers out there!!! We have had some really nice weather here and let me tell you, we are so deserving really! My friend is heading out west for a couple of weeks, so that is just a perfect excuse to make a card...right! I just bought this adorable C.C.Designs mini alphabet die. LOVE it. So I die cut it three times to get a three D effect. Plus I used some embossing paste to do my stars with my new star stencil and of course, added some glitter.
This little guy from Whipper Snapper has been coloured with prismas. And that is about it! Nothing fancy here, keeping it simple...that way I can accomplish my card list! LOL
