Finally, a post! Life has just got into the way of making cards! I love sneaking away into my craft room and playing with the my goodies but with the nice weather I feel a little guilty! But, not today. Today it stormed all day, so what better way to make the storm clouds disappear......create!
I fell in love with Laura and Henri....Sarah Kay has entered back into my life of crafting! I had a lot of these adorable images at one time and have not used them. But, a little visit at One Crazy Stamper and somehow these two made it home with me!
Now, I do have to admit, that I had a day were nothing was working. I would make a card and trash it! Nothing and I mean nothing was coming together. I wanted a card for my hubby as this weekend we are celebrating our anniversary. I didn't want anything to pretty, but low and behold some wild orchid flowers did make it onto the card. I did put a sentiment inside too. I coloured with copics this time as the distress inks that I was playing with at first were not co-operating for me. Ugh! I love distress inks...but it wasn't meant to be today!
I want to thank you all that leave such nice comments. I certainly do. I also want to thank those that attend my classes (some on a regular basis) at One Crazy Stamper. I love to meet with you all and share a passion for card making....thank-you to all of you for making it so fun!
I would love to enter my card creation into a few challenges:
1. As you Like it.......Favorite 2 colour combos- Blue/Brown
2. Charisma Cardz....No Digis Allowed
3. Simply Create Too.....Anything Goes
Have a wonderful week!

Longing for summer days...
Oh how I long to be this little one sitting in the grass without a care in the world. Yes that is what summer is all about, and hopefully it comes soon. Finally the weather is turning around for us! I did some colouring with the distress inks today...tried to do some clouds in the background and must say that I wasn't all that successful!LOL But heck, it is all about the fun of trying! I also tried something very different for me. I tried tucking an easel card into two side panels here, so that when you close it up it all comes together for tucking into your envelople! I absolutely love this card, and I am sure I will do it again.
Have a wonderful day and I hope spring is arriving in your neck of the woods!
Here are a few challenges I am putting my card creation into:
Stampin' for the Weekend- Die or Punches on your card
Sweet Stampin' Challenge- Anything but Birthday

True Friends....
I wanted to bring a little spring here to my blog. The weather has not co-operated lately so I thought, that's it...I am doing spring cards! I have fallen totally in love with this Vintage collection of stamps and dies to match! I purchased these gorgeous stamps at One Crazy Stamper. The set is called Just Right True Friends Vintage Labels Four, Heart Scroll Background Stamp and the Justrite Vintage Labels Four Dies. The die in behind the image is a Spellbinders Die, called Spendid Circles, also available at One Crazy Stamper. Oh so pretty I think. I must thank Debbie Olson for the inspiration behind this one!
I coloured each card with prisma pencils and blended with the gamsol....kept it really soft. I sponged the edges with the frayed burlap, distress inks!
I will be doing these cards in a class at One Crazy Stamper in May so if you would love to join us just contact Lora at the store!
Well, today has brought us some sunshine and a little warmer temperatures, finally. So I am headed outside with the dog today to enjoy! Have a wonderful day!

Wishing for summer...
Oh how I am dreaming of summer days! As I am typing this, the weather is rainy and cold. Not spring like here at all....so what better way to spend a day but in the card making room. I just bought this adorable Sarah Kay stamp from One Crazy Stamper. I have fallen in love with her stamps again. She has a new release too, that I have to get my hands on.
I have used copics on this image and really like the vibrant colours. I used the LOTV cardstock, that a sweet friend bought for me a couple of weeks ago when she made the trip all the way to LOTV. Such a treat to have new papers!
Have a wonderful day, and hopefully spring will arrive soon here!

Really.....
We woke up this morning and a Winter storm was issued, yesterday buses were cancelled due to the freezing rain, REALLY, were would spring be. So it just seemed so appropriate to create a card with the weather in mind and a challenge. Winter Wonderland has a challenge up and is to create a card with no red or green. I can do that! I just purchased this wonderful die from Crealies called creative flowers #18. Love Love it...it is a flower but when you place them all together they look like snowflakes!
I am doing this card and another one for a class in May...it is going to be my Christmas in May card class. I will be stress free Christmas card making....in the spring. Hope you will join us at One Crazy Stamper. Now, its not up on the Event calendar just yet. Lora is at Scrapfest this weekend, so when she comes back she can add it to the class calendar.
Lots of glitter and coloured with prismas it is such a fun card to do. I love the High Hopes stamp too. Also from One Crazy Stamper. It is called, Havin a ball, Snowman. Not sure if I can say I'm having a ball with this weather, but I am having fun getting some Christmas cards done.
Also a big hello to Marianne! She will be so happy I joined in this week! And big thank-you to Norma for always inspiring me to do wonderful things with dies! Thank-you Norma!

April Birthday Advent Calendar Card....
Wowzers, I can't believe I am posting two days in a row. I wanted to get this card done for my Sister in Laws birthday. It is no secret I love Normas Advent Christmas cards she did last year, so I thought what a great idea for a birthday card. Actually it was an excuse to make the calendar type card! This way you can enjoy the whole month of your birthday...don't you think!LOL One day of celebrating...that's not enough!
I made myself a template of a tree trunk and then started punching those Martha Stewart pine branch and frond punches like crazy and tried creating a tree for our little bunnies. The one stamp is from LOTV and the other is from High Hopes, which is available at ONE CRAZY STAMPER. I love that little guy!
I still have to attach my Happy Birthday sentiment, I just haven't found the one I like for the card.
Now, I never enter into any challenges but thought I would try it out. So I am going to enter
my little card into the following challenges!
Cute Card Thursday- something borrowed ( borrowed lovely Normas idea of the advent calendar)
Papertake Weekly- Anything Goes!
Now I am off to make an envelope to fit this little card! Have a wonderful hopefully, spring like
day!

Hello to April...I am just a little behind with the calendar page for this month! I have fallen in love with this little one from Saturated Canary. Look at her little quilted dress. I got out the copics for this image and really had fun with them again, but I must say, I really think I am very rusty. I tried to do some clouds with the copics, but I am not too sure if I love them! lol....
Love this new paper pack called, KneeHighs by Basic Grey. A little something I got from
One Crazy Stamper. I tell you, she has the best 6x6 paper packs around. I love the 6x6 paper pads for cards. Not as much waste and I love the fact the print is a little smaller....very pretty paper!
Today we have sunny skies and a warmer temperatures....come on spring! Around here, it just can't come fast enough! Have a wonderful day, and thank-you so much for your comments. I love that you pop in to say hi!
