You warm my heart.....

I am on to a new holiday card....Valentine's Day! Actually I wanted to send these little cards off to some special people in the next week. So I kind of made them a bit Valentine like!!!! I used some stamps I had from Pure Innocence. I just adore these cute little girls.....
I coloured with copics this time, not the usual prismas. A little rusty I must say. But by adding some white dots and a little glitter you can hide a lot!
My new year idea is to keep my cards simple and then maybe I can post a little more often! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and now you are settling into a bit of a routine again! I'm trying to enjoy a little craft time......and take some time to visit some blogs! Have a wonderful day!

Advent Calendar......

I am in love with advent calendars cards...Norma did one last year and she totally blew me away. I made one last year and the addiction continues this year. Now....I also have another addiction...Snowman! Combine the two, and this is what I came up with.
Lots of glitter, lots of snow...I used my Martha Stewart pine branch punch to make my spruce tree. I also made some pinecones under the pine! Oh these two are so cute! I have to mail this out asap so the recipient can keep it out this month and turn the numbers as the days creep close to Christmas!
I hope your Christmas cards are coming along...we are getting so close to the big day!

Joy....

Some really chilly temperatures have me realizing I must get going on my Christmas cards....before you know it, it will be time to mail out your Christmas cards. I am hoping not to be too far behind this year! I am keeping my cards a bit simple so that task can be achieved!
Yesterday my sweet friend Leila delivered my Maja Papers....They are the new Christmas line called A Gift for you....I have such a hard time cutting into them. But I did and I must say, Maya Papers are so beautiful.
Have a wonderful week....and thank-you for your visit!

Winter Cards.....

Some very plain Christmas cards to post today...but I really needed to get started on my cards or I won't be sending out any this year and that would not make me very happy.  I had ordered some LOTV images that I wanted to use so badly. So I inked them up today...coloured with copics and added lots of stamped trees. You may not notice but I added a piece of acetate to the front of the image and popped it up. Very clean and simple.

I am hoping to be posting a little more as I have been neglecting more poor blog! I haven't neglected viciting all the beautiful creations out there that I love to visit. Such amazing talent out in blog land!
Have a wonderful day and thank-you for popping in!

Wow...I am on a bit of a roll....

What a great way to spend a wintery day...out on the pond!!! I don't want to rush winter here, oh no, not this gal...she loves summer way to much to see it go!
Unbelievable, I have made two cards this weekend. I am thrilled to add some more to my Christmas card collection. Today, my card was all about a vision I had. Two girls skating on an outdoor pond...and it came to life for me. Well, at least I think it did...lol!
I wanted a pop up card so away to work I went. You have to be a bit careful to close it up as she is a bit delicate. I used lots of dies and one of my favourite images from the lastest LOTV release. I also used some more of my much loved Maja Papers.
I am off to enjoy the beautiful sunshine outside as summer winds down here! Hope to see you soon!

Head start on Christmas cards...

Well, after a little break from blogging to enjoy our summer weather I am back with a head start on a Christmas card. The way things are around here, I thought I had better get a little busy. Before you know it Christmas will be here....LOL I have really enjoyed our summer but now it is time to visit the craft room a little more often.
My card today is a bit simple but I am really liking that. I sponged the sky with some momento inks and then used the papertrey stamp set that I really like called, Winter Hills. It has this adorable house and the spruce tree stamp. I then used a Taylored Expressions die for the birch trees. All in all...simple right! Oh and a little glitter was added. That is another reason I love making Christmas cards...you can go crazy with glitter.
I hope that you had a fantastic summer and look forward to the fall weather!!!! Happy Crafting!

Summer.....Slider Card

I tried my hand at a  slider card...which I was totally inspired to try after seeing Miss Normas! I love summer and this just has summer all over it. I fell in love with this style of card and could hardly wait to try it out. I used lots of dies...and coloured up Miss Tilda with prismas.
When you pull the tab, Tilda slides out to reveal a sentiment and the inside slides out too! I am so happy Norma you posted your slider card...it has become a favourite style for me. I am already thinking about the beautiful Christmas cards I can come up with.  I used my most favourite Maja papers....delicious! LOL

I hope you are having a wonderful summer. I hope to do a bit more creating this weekend!
