The only daisy around this neck of the woods is on this card! It is snowy and windy and it is the end of April...we should be well into spring like weather, but mother nature has other ideas.  I just bought this adorable image from Stamping Bella called Daisy adorable.  She came with two different sized stamps. The larger of the two I placed on a card and coloured with prisma pencils and the smaller image I stamped on an envelope and coloured with prismas as well.
I stitched around the base of the card..but I must say I need to be a little more careful when doing that. I think it looks a tad messy. I am going to spend the day doing cards today as I just received an order of Rubberneck dies in the mail that I am so excited to play with...thanks to Kittie Kraft! She does some really awesome cards using dies! Enjoy your day and I hope to see you soon!

Swing into spring...

Spring is here but the weather outside does not look like temperatures and rain/ice pallets in the forecast for tomorrow.....
I just received my MFT stamps and dies in the mail (thank-you Leila) and I could hardly wait to play.
My little girl on the swing she swings back and forth. I coloured her up with prismas….she looks a little washed out in the pictures. Added some cute little bunnies and lots of grass.
I hope you enjoy your day and can get outside to enjoy some nice weather where you live!

Money Wallet Card.....

It is a rainy miserable day here in Ontario so I needed to get into the craft room to make a money wallet card for a special someone! I saw this here and fell in love....the lady who made hers that I gave the link to did a beautiful job. She has a link on her blog on how to do it.

I coloured the image with prismas and added some glitter. I can see I will be making a lot of these as they really are so neat!
Well, I am off to create!

Coming out of Hibernation....

First day of spring here where I it is time to come out of hibernation. And what better way then with a cute bear cub! I was so inspired by Mindy Baxters card that I had to try out her technique. I can tell you...she is superb at it! Here blog is here if you would like to see her magic with copics!
The card on the left was coloured using prismas and the other card on the right is with copics. I feel as though the one using the prisma pencils I was in my comfort zone. But all in all...I did enjoy just colouring! Thank-you Mindy for inspiring me!
Hope you have spring like weather were you are...and I hope that is it for us for winter! Have a wonderful day!

Shaker Card for New Arrival....

A cold windy day calls for a day in the craft room for sure! I bought a gift card for someone awaiting a new arrival! I didn't want a card to put the gift card in. So last weekend I bought a fuse tool at our local craft store Michaels...and made a clear pocket shaker pocket for my gift card to sit in. I punched tons of gold hearts and added some Martha Stewart stars and little hearts to put inside and once it was full of all the little hearts and stars and the gift card I sealed it up with the fuse tool.
I used an adorable image from the new release Dreamerland Crafts! Thank-you Heidi for letting me play with these cute bears! I coloured this guy up with prismas and ran it thru a Xyron sticker maker and put it on the front...whew it worked.
Stay warm and out of the cold this weekend!

Reveal Wheel Card....

I must say...I really need to get into the craft room a bit more then I do...I really enjoy the process of making a card....
I was at a wonderful day Crop at Pointer yesterday with ladies that truly inspire you to just go for it and create! I bought this reveal wheel die from Lawn Fawn and I must say I love it. You turn the little scalloped wheel and a new sentiment is revealed! I pulled out some beloved LOTV images and coloured with prismas and attached it to the front of my card...sweetness!
Kind of simple but I think I like simple!!!
I am now going to try my hand at making a clear pocket shaker gift card holder! So I hope to post that this week. Have a wonderful day!

Winter Wonderland...

It is a winter wonderland outside our house that is for sure. Lots of snow and very very cold. So what do you hibernate and make cards! I used a sweet Dreamerland Craft image and coloured with prismas and then made a box card and cut out all my trees except the pine tree is a die!

It is a quick post for me this morning as I am off to work! See you soon and stay warm!
