Finally, I am posting a card. A simple card, but a card. We have been very busy with lots of little renovations around the house. Hubby has been my hero every weekend getting so much of our
house projects done. I thought this image pretty much sums him up...gear is ready to go!!!

Hope you are keeping dry were you are, we are having lots of rain here. This sure makes it easier when you have projects that need to be done inside. Have a wonderful day!
Also, a big shout out to my friends that visit! Hello to All!

Easter is on its way....

Hello Everyone....Easter may be on its way but it sure is not very spring like here! Oh I am longing for warmer and nicer weather. I was out on the weekend at one of my favourite stores. It is a little Country Store with all sorts of treasures...and this is were my inspiration for this card comes from. I bought my Easter decorations for the house. I bought a cute bunny to place on my kitchen table along with a watering can filled with pretty flowers.
I made five of these cards for some family and some friends.... what is Easter without bunnies!
Have a wonderful week! Hopefully I have some more cards to post soon.

Slider Card...with a little touch of spring!

There is absolutely no sign of spring so I had to bring some to my blog by making a spring card! Nothing says spring like when you have butterflies and flowers and a cute little mouse.
I just love making these slider easy and so fun to make! I love how you slide up the tab and it reveals an adorable sentiment.  The one thing I love about blogging is looking at what amazing things people do....I have a lot of people out in blog land to thank for inspiring me that is for sure. There is Norma, that makes her own flowers and makes the most awesome cards that is for sure, there is Kittie Kraft that makes these awesome hydrangea flowers that I have made for my card, and there is Beth that makes the most adorable House Mouse  cards that I can't colour like she does, so I picked a little mouse that was the closest I can come to her!!!

Hopefully I have brought spring to my blog even if it is just a card!!LOL

Happy Valentine's Day.....

Today I am posting a card I made for my daughter for Valentine's Day.....a rather simple one, but I am trying to post more so simple makes it a bit easier! LOL I just love the LOTV stamps and this stamp is one I have used so often.
I coloured with prisma pencils and added just a hint of glitter around the circle.
Have a wonderful day......

Thinking of You....

Well, finally a card to put on my blog! I saw this style of card on Normas blog. She always inspires me with all her ideas! So I thought I have to try this one....I loved doing it so now after I post this card I am making another one!
We have a winter storm heading this way....I am going to ignore it and just think spring! I picked pretty spring colours, and of course my favourite! I coloured this adorable sweet girl with copics and added a little bit of the prisma pencils. I added a little glitter too!
I just love how you slide the card up to reveal the sentiment!

Well, that's it for me! Stay warm!

You warm my heart.....

I am on to a new holiday card....Valentine's Day! Actually I wanted to send these little cards off to some special people in the next week. So I kind of made them a bit Valentine like!!!! I used some stamps I had from Pure Innocence. I just adore these cute little girls.....
I coloured with copics this time, not the usual prismas. A little rusty I must say. But by adding some white dots and a little glitter you can hide a lot!
My new year idea is to keep my cards simple and then maybe I can post a little more often! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and now you are settling into a bit of a routine again! I'm trying to enjoy a little craft time......and take some time to visit some blogs! Have a wonderful day!

Advent Calendar......

I am in love with advent calendars cards...Norma did one last year and she totally blew me away. I made one last year and the addiction continues this year. Now....I also have another addiction...Snowman! Combine the two, and this is what I came up with.
Lots of glitter, lots of snow...I used my Martha Stewart pine branch punch to make my spruce tree. I also made some pinecones under the pine! Oh these two are so cute! I have to mail this out asap so the recipient can keep it out this month and turn the numbers as the days creep close to Christmas!
I hope your Christmas cards are coming along...we are getting so close to the big day!
