Bringing home the tree card.....

Well..I did get to some Christmas card making using some Dreamerland Crafts stamps.... I coloured up this cute little girl that I made, to look like she was taking this Christmas tree home with her to decorate up for the holidays. I used my prismas and drew lots of trees included the one she is bringing home....
When you open up the card the two images that are apart slide closer together! It is hard to show it on the blog here....
Lots and lots of trees to draw.....lots of snow and glitter!

Well it is another card made....hopefully I can get a few more done in the next few weeks.
Winter seems to be getting closer and closer here...the weather has been cold and wet!
Have a wonderful day and thank-you for popping in!

Birthday pop up card....

I took a tiny break from Christmas card making and made a birthday card that pops up!
I coloured the image with prismas and sponged the background with distress inks!
This is a short post today as I have the day off to totally concentrate on some serious card making for Christmas...and I could not be happier!
Have a wonderful day!

Advent Calendar Card.....

Christmas card making is in full swing here at the DOL house....I made this Christmas card advent calendar using another sweet Dreamerland Crafts stamp....She is so sweet. I coloured her up with prismas. I made the spruce tree using the Martha Steward pine branch punch....and added liquid applique to make the snow on the tree.
I must be sure to have this card mailed early so that the person receiving it can enjoy turning the numbers for each day to Christmas! Stay warm if you are experiencing cool temps like we are and to all you Canadians....Happy Thanksgiving!

Create a vellum window card....

First off,  let me apologize for the poor pictures...this was a tough card to photograph and with it being a cloudy day as well it was really tough.....
When I saw Kristina Werners card and utube video which you can see here... I had to try it. This is such an adorable idea...thank-you Kristina for sharing with us, you are one talented lady!
I took a LOTV image I had from some time ago...and coloured with prisma pencils. I just followed Kristina's instructions and voila I had another Christmas card! I have to get going on that I tell ya!
Well on to the next Christmas card...hopefully it photographs much nicer as this is really not good at all! Enjoy your day and thank-you for popping by!

TO DO LIST BOOKLET....

This post seems so appropriate....I have been enjoying the summer weather and have not had a whole of time to create....so now " a to do list" is required! I made a cute box card and a note pad to match....
I used the newly released stamp called LINE DRYING from Dreamerland Crafts. She is so cute and her little pal watching her. I coloured her up with prisma pencils and used a piece of acetate to put the butterfly on to prop it up.
I made the note pad with a note pad I bought at the dollar store and then made a cover with kraft cardstock and then decorated the front using the same adorable stamp.
I am hoping to start posting a little more often as summer winds down. I must get busy making Christmas cards too...I started early last year and it was great!  Big shout out to Marianne who always gets me thinking Christmas cards are great to start early....
Have a wonderful day and thank-you kindly for visiting!
