Lots of time...

There is still lots of time to enjoy the wonderful days of summer! We have had the most awesome weather this year. For my card I used "the BIG GUY grillin" by Mo Manning. This was suppose to be my Father's Day card this year, but I did not get it done in time. A couple of weeks ago, Stamping Bella had a challenge to paper piece....I was so inspired by all the cards submitted that I decided to have a try at this paperpiecing. After paperpiecing the big guys shirt,I took some copic markers to give it a bit of shading. I coloured the image with copics as well as prismas and lyras.
I hope you have some fantastic weather where you are...and can get some grillin' going!

I had just put down my mouse having completed my commentary on everyone's blog and there you are at the top of my list again with a new creation. Great paper piecing, Christine! I can just smell those dogs cooking. Hugs, Lesley

Ha Ha Christine, this image made me laugh. When my dad was alive, this is what he would have looked like cooking on the bbq.
Brought back memories...thank you.
It is coloured beautifully, which I have come to expect from your stunning work.
Papers are a great addition and the paper piecing is such fun isnt it?

Great card and paper-piecing, Christine. Your coloring is great, as always. Thanks for the reminder that it's still summer, because once school starts it seems like summer's over. When I was growing up school never started until after Labor day which is the first week-end in September. Glad you've had such grand weather because I remember you lonnnging for warmer weather. Hope this winter is kinder to you.

Hi Christine, love your paper piecing of this big guy! What a cute image. Like how you used the houndstooth paper as a layer too. My big guy has been known to go out and grill in the snow if the steak is right!!!!! Nicely done.
