beach bum.....

I hope you are not getting to tired of my beach themed cards! I just love this hot and sunny weather we are having...you see, here in Ontario it is so short, as we usually only have this weather until the middle of August. So....I have to get the beach cards in when I can!LOL. I love blue, red and white together...it has to be one of my favourite colour combos! Over at Crafty Creations they have a great challenge. It is to use your favourite stamp! A little tough to do that, as I seem to just love each and everyone of them! But for my recipe card, I used a Karen Lockhart stamp....the "Wicker Chair". It so reminds me of the good ol porch chair!

For my card I used copics and then used last years Martha Stewart sandcastles punch and then tore a strip of kraft cardstock to make another strip of sand! My little banner is just a toothpick with a homemade banner attached to it. I also paper pieced the bathing suit on this little sun beauty!
Here is another recipe I just love...Bruschetta! Who does not love Bruschetta! I actually think I should have been Italian as I just love anything Italian. Here is my wicker chair that I used copics on and then took my colourless blender and made the dots on the cushion. I think it turned out kind of cute! Lots of buttons and lots of cute paper....and there is another recipe card!
Challenge: Crafty Creations ........use your favourite stamp! ( that is if you can pick only one!)
Have a wonderful day......

Wow, girl...where to start! These are fantastic! I love the layout on the recipe card...gonna have to remember that for the next recipe card I make. Love how you did the sand hill on the card with the torn edges and MS punched border.

....and now I totally want to make a card with the blue/red combo!
