Happy Saturday to all...
I am so sorry for the lack of posts this week. I have been making a quilt for my daughters 16th
birthday which is Tuesday, and it is taking up so much of my card making time! Why I always seem to leave things until the last minute I am not to sure. I think I work better with a deadline!
For my card today I pulled out some of my favourite Elzybells stamps. I love to bake and this just reminds me of the goodies that you can make! Does anyone have a favourite recipe? Please share!!!! I love a good ol family recipe!
Here is one of my favourite recipes for Chocolate Chip Cookies!
2 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt 1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 large eggs
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375
COMBINE flour, baking soda, salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla
in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop onto baking sheet.
BAKE for 9-11 minutes!!!!
Well I am off for an all day hockey tournament for my son! Have a fantastic Saturday!

Very sweet Christine. Thanks for the recipe.
No time for baking I'm afraid, that's what shops are for, lol! It would take up to much of my limited cardmaking time. I just love this cute card Christine. Super sweet image. Marianne x
This is a lovely card Christine. I hope you're going to show us the finished quilt. I'm sure it will be lovely. I must write down that recipe. I love to bake and don't do it very often now that my family are grown up.

A gorgeous card Christine. I have some recipes to share if you're interested. A lovely Crustless Milktart one which is an old family recipe and an absolute winner. Can serve warm or cold. Pop me an email if you'd like the recipe. Cheers Sharon
