I thought this stamp set was perfect for a card and another recipe card that can be added to my growing recipe album. I am so thrilled to be getting that done...then I hope to be moving onto my scrapbooking albums, something I have totally neglected. Not right...I have sooo many memories to get into an album before I forget all the little things I need to remember to say in my albums!
The sentiment for this card is from the papertrey stamp set "A day at the Beach". Oh I so love that saying! This is a girl that LOVES summer! I keep trying to convince hubby to move to the Carribean or even Arizona where the heat is dry, no humidity! One day...one day! Do they have scrapbooking stores in the carribean? LOL
Well..have a wonderful Friday...I hope the weather is warm were you are! Blow those breezes our way PLEASE!

Beautiful cards Christine! That apple paper is awesome and I love the design layout on the circle - very creative of you!! The apple crisp recipe sounds delicious too - that has to be one of my most favourite desserts!! I hope the weather starts cheering up - Josh is going on a hiking camp this weekend!!!

Wow...this is such a lovely card and receipe card! I am longing for warmer temperatures as well. We have about the same here...rain, rain and more rain and snowflakes from 1000m up...which are quite many regions here in Austria. Where is spring? And soon will be summer...just three more months and then we have to prepare already for autumn!! Huh!! :((
So I also love your maritime background!!!
Wish we both will have some lovely warm and sunny days!
Martina

OMG, this is darling. Love the apple paper. What a great design. We're going to have to have an apple crisp bake off this fall. It's one of my favorite recipes.

Your cards, Christine, are all favourites! Everyone one of them is always so beautifully coloured, perfectly executed with just the right design details. I love this fruity number with its lovely sentiment! If you can make Christmas cards in April (I spotted a cutie earlier) then I guess it is also okay to make lovely summery recipe and greetings cards in a snow flurry! It was 88 degrees in Florida at the time! Hugs, Lesley
