Backyard fun.....

Oh I so remember at my grandma's she had this swing my grampa made for me, that  I would spend a lot of time on....It was just an old piece of wood that hung from an old tree. My friends and I would take turns seeing how high we could get. Oh the sweet ol good ol days! I tried to create the backyard fun scene....used some sweet magnolia's and a tent card idea.
I sponged some clouds in the background and added lots of layers of punched grass. I made a tree template and ran it through the cuttlebug using a  die that looks like wood grain and then sponged it with distress inks, walnut stain. I then punched lots of Martha Stewart leaves and layered them to make it look like an old tree. I want to thank my friend Beth for cutting my adorable fence die for me. I love the look of that fence!
I am hoping that spring will be on it's sweet way soon.  Enough of winter....bring on the sunshine and the warmer temperatures!
Have a wonderful day!!!!

I love this, Christine! Tent cards are on my to-do list but still haven't gotten around to making one. Such a sweet scene you've created . Superb colouring of the two adorable Tildas. I love how you've made the swing. Creative of you to use the MS leaf punch for the tree.
Hugs,
Norma
