Missing a little spring......

Just trying to bring a litte bit of spring here to my blog....I know it will still be a few months before the lilacs and birds are all back. But I wanted to feel some spring here! Here in Ontario, lilacs bloom in June and it is always a welcoming site. Love the sight and smell of lilacs. So I tried to bring it to my card with lots of punched out Martha Stewart hydrangeas to resemble lilac flowers. I then took a eyeshadow makeup brush to the Dusty Concord Distressed Ink pad and then brushed the edges of the flowers. Glued clusters together on the leaves and there I had my little lilac flowers. Almost looks like a cherry blossom! May have to try pink next!!!!

These adorable winter birdies with their ear muffs on, are from Purple Onion Stamps. I just love these little birdies. I coloured all of them with prisma pencils and added a touch of glitter. No card is complete without the glitter! lol
Another plain card, but this one is going to have a home. In May a friend of mine has a birthday and I will give it to her. Perfectly spring birthday card!

Have a wonderful weekend.
