Church on the Hill....

I just bought some Derwent Inktense pencils to try and I really am enjoying them. I need some practice with them that is for sure.  I  want to send my mother-in-law this card for Christmas. It is a stamp I really liked and I know she will too. It reminds of the an old church that stands up on a hill quite near to us. It has such charm and character that is for sure.
I added some liquid applique for snow and a little glitter. I can see the glitter is not showing up all that well...but trust me. When I do a card it always has glitter! LOL

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and hopefully you have some time to create.

Beautiful card, Christine. Peaceful scenery. I love it that you're trying different medium. I should be doing that too--I just have to find the time...tee hee. Love the rich colours you get from those intense pencils. Gorgeous DP by the way--very elegant design. Love the stitching.
