Making your own Nordic background.....

I absolutely love knitted Nordic sweaters and mitts! So with that in mind I had this Waltzing Mouse stamp set called Nordic Winter....that totally resembles Nordic to me. I thought I would make my own paper using this gorgeous set...I had a gorgeous red, taupe and Nordic blue ink pad to play with.I just stamped on the back of cream bazzil paper... and this was the result.....
The adorable image is a LOTV image...love those! This guy skiing has Nordic all over him!LOL
I used distress inks and added a little glitter for snow. I made 5 of these Christmas cards to add to my growing collection...thank goodness I will have some to mail out this year.

Have a wonderful weekend....and hopefully you get in some crafty time!

GORGEOUS!!!! Christine, I love it! I love that Nordic sweater look too. So I looked up those stamps and good golly they are expensive! What the heck? haha! Anyhow, your card looks so awesome and are such great colors, then you go and add the beautifully colored LOTV image and WOW!!! What a card!
P.S. Whip out those Inktense, you will love them once you get used to working with them.
