Shaker Card...using Distress Inks

I am having a wonderful time creating these shaker cards....they are so easy to do and have winter all
over them. These two cards are for an upcoming class at One Crazy Stamper this month. The images have both been coloured using distress inks. I would have to say using distress inks is by far my favourite way to colour. So soft and so pretty!

Above is a picture of the inside of the card. I have left a little room to write a little note.
I will have some Christmas cards that I have been working on to post later this week. Thank-you so much for your comments, I love that you come and appreciate you taking the time to visit!

Boy, would I love to sit down with you and have you teach me to colour with distress inks.
Two beautiful cards, Christine. Gorgeous DP's. I really like that colour combo of maroon, blue and brown. I really should get around to making a shaker card. Love the moving snow effect.
Hugs,
Norma

PS. Birthday! What birthday? I guess I must have missed yours. Happy Belated Birthday!!! When was the date?

I always love to see a post from you, Christine. You were one of my very first regular blog buddies and we have both changed how we do things since those early days. Your three cards are all super pretty. I love how you have decorated your inside with that clever design too. Hugs, Lesley

These are beautiful Christine! I too agree, the softness of the distress inks look so nice! How do you use them? Are they in pen form or from the stamp pad? The shakers are so fun! I've only ever done one of them, and you have inspired me to get with it!! Luv & hugs, J:)
