Matilda on her swing......

Oh my goodness, brace yourself, I have posted two days in a row!LOL I actually have had a little time to get into that wonderful craft room of mine and play.....I had this idea for a class to do at Stamping Bella...it was to get little Matilda a swing under a tree.....I really wanted her to actually swing back and forth. So I thought about it and placed a brad behind the tree so that the swing would move back and forth freely. I also had this Martha Stewart punch that I new alot of the ladies who take my classes have, so I thought it would maybe work to make a tree! All I can say is with lots of trial and errors it worked, oh and lots of punching of these little leaf branches.... Little Matilda gets to swing!

I sponged around my cloud template with chalk to give the appearance of clouds in the background. I also made the front of my card out of acetate so you could see right thru it to the sentiment inside. The tree trunk I embossed with a tree bark embossing folder I just recently purchased at Stamping Bella and it work perfectly. Matilda on her swing is from Stamping Bella....love her!
I hope you have a wonderful evening......I am off to visit you all that come to visit as I have not had alot of time to do so lately! Talk soon!

A moving swing for Matilda with a 3-D tree ~ WOW WOW WOW ! This is brilliant Christine and I think I will have to call Em and book one of the classes ... even though you know I will be sitting there playing with the tree and the swing 'til the cows come home! Ha ! This is so adorable and I can't wait to see it up close & personal ♥

Well aren't you so clever. I love this. My girls used to spend hours swinging from a tire swing that hung from a tree. Great times. This is adorable.
