water...weed...wait....

I wanted to share a Mother's Day Card and some knitted dishcloths I have been working on. I coloured up this adorable Penny Black image with copics. I have been neglecting my copics...and it showed today. I find when you do not use them for a while, I actually forget a little how to make them work!

Knitted Dishcloths (6mm- US-10 Knitting Needles)

Cast on 4 sts.
1st row- Knit

2nd row- K1. Inc. 1 st in next st.

Knit to end of row.

Rep. last row to 49 sts.

Next row- K2. Knit 2 together. Knit to end of row.

Rep. last row to last 4 sts. Cast off.

Someone gave me some knitted dishcloths last year and I absolutely love them. So I had to make some of my own, and had then had a few requests for some! A tested product you are truly going to love to have!
Off to enjoy some of the sunshine this afternoon...have an absolutely wonderful afternoon!

A great card. You reminded me I have this stamp too, but never coloured it with Copics. I love the stitching, a lovely detail. Good idea with the dish clothes. Elaine

Fab card Christine - this was one of the first PB stamps I ever bought! I'd like to give knitting another try. My mum taught me when I was little but I'm left handed and she taught me right handed so I always struggled. It's on my list of 'things I want to learn' alongside playing the guitar and quilting!
