Welcome February...

Welcome February....I am not too sure whether I want to welcome February...we are in for a major snowstorm to start the new month!
I bought this cute little Pure Innocence stamp in December called "Sending you a little Christmas" but chose to make it a little Valentine's stamp...There was this little Christmas tree in her sled which I changed to a little sled full of hearts. I also just bought this Sizzix embossing folder at Michaels last week, in the Valentine's section and thought it was just too cute to pass up and use on my calendar page and my recipe card.
I made Hermit Cookies for the kids this weekend and made a recipe card to go into the recipe booklet.I have had a few of you ask where I store my recipe cards. I bought this recipe booklet, that resembles a photo album, from Chapters (a local book store). It has two clear slots per page to slid in each 4x6 recipe card.It comes with recipe cards but I love trying to make my own!

I really like that they are protected by the clear package so when you are baking you don't make a mess on your recipe cards!

I hope you are staying warm...I am off to clean house and make some Carrot Muffins and hopefully another recipe card! Have a wonderful day, and thank-you so much for popping in for a visit!

Love this recipe card, Christine. I'm really in love with those Pure Innocence images and you did her up so cute for Valentine's Day. Don't die of shock but I did a card to link to the Sweet Stop Sketch challenge. I'll link it tomorrow. Love your recipe card and that Sizzix die is beautiful. I tried blowing some warmth your way but I think it got intercepted.

Love how you have changed up the image to make her a valentine. Very clever! A beautiful calendar page and a lovely matching recipe. Your recipes all look so lovely together in the album. If it were my album I would spend all my time looking at the pretty pictures and not cooking! Big hugs, Lesley

I always look forward to the first of the month to see your cute calendar. I love the recipe card. I am trying to make up recipe cards to give to my daughter as a gift. It's a lot of fun! Do you do a seperate card for the directions, or do you just put them on the back of the card? Stay warm!

So adorable and very clever to use the hearts in place of the Christmas tree! You always come up with the BEST ideas! You keep warm! Our high was only 47 here in Phx. and going down to 27 tonight! For here that is really cold! But I must say I am loving the change! Love & hugs, J:)
