a note for you....

We woke up this morning with lots of snow that had fallen overnight..yuck! I am really ready for spring. Today Korin over at Sweet Stop Sketches Challenge blog has a great sketch for us.

I certainly had spring on my mind when I did this card...I pulled out the C.C.Designs stamps and did some masking so that the fence could go in behind. I coloured her with distress inks...which I just love to play with!

I sure hope you can play along this week. I have a hockey tournament all weekend with my son so not much crafting. Have a wonderful weekend!

Christine, this definitely SCREAMS spring to me! Love it! I keep meaning to pull out all my CC design stamps! When you say you colour with the distress inks, do you water colour with them? I LOVE the look!

This card is certainly "Spring-ey" and so, so cute. Your fence is the perfect backdrop. Sorry you got more snow. We've warmed up all of a sudden here, and it's delightful, but I wouldn't mind a bit more of the cooler before it turns warm and stays there. Guess we're never satisfied, are we. I'd happily send you some of this if I knew how. :)
