Norma has this wonderful Winter Lantern tutorial on her blog that I followed and found so fun to do! If you have not seen her Lantern, you are in for a treat, so be sure to check her's out here!
For my icicles I didn't have the Martha Stewart punch so I had to draw them by hand first and then cut them out. I then added LOTS of glitter. I added liquid applique and glitter for snow. You should have seen my craft room...glitter everywhere!
I hope you have a chance to make one of these...they really are fun to do!

Oh Christine, this is absolutely stunning. Wow... just love it. I've never ice-skated, as our climate in SA just doesn't allow for it and having lived in the country most of my childhood, there were no ice-rinks nearby to try this sport. I really envy you. It must be absolutely wonderful to ice-skate. As a child I used to dream that I was a famous ice-skater! Thanks for this post, as it's brought all those memories back again. hugs Sharon
Very cute Christine. Love the way you did the icicles.

Hi Christine, wow this is clever, I do so love it.love those snowflakes. its so so special.
Hi Christine. Wow this is so stunning. Love the colours and you have done a fantastic job cutting out the icicles. Cute Tilda image and beautifully coloured. I can just imagine this at Christmas with a little tealight in it. Donna
Wowzer. Christine, FAB-U-LOUS! Love your snow—so much better. I’ve been looking for that liquid appliqué in our local craft stores, but no one is selling them here—I think I have to buy them online. Your fence that you wrapped around the corner looks terrific that way—will keep that idea in mind for future projects…LOL. I just love your lantern!!!
Hugs.
