Recipe card.....

Today is take your kids to work day....so Justin and I were up bright and early..yep 4:30 in the morning to meet up with a friend who is a firefighter and had offered to take Justin and his son to work with him this morning. So last night I made chocolate chip muffins for us to grab this morning along with some pancakes I whipped up this morning. It is going to be a long day for them...but extremely fun. Apparently they make it a fantastic day for all the kids....my son has mentioned he might like to be a firefighter...now I think the getting up at 4:30 might not be to his liking!LOL

I find this recipe really a nice one to make. Breanne and Justin really like to grab these after school or first thing in the morning as they are always eating!! Do your kids eat and eat!!

As you know I have been trying to get my recipe booklet nicely organized with all my favourite recipes. So once again, I did make a recipe card. I will be sharing a recipe card with you in the near future....oh boy...it is called Vanilla Snowflake Cake....Wonderful for the holidays! You will just love it.I found it in the Whats Cooking Magazine. So stayed tuned!

Just click on What's Cooking Magazine right above and it will take you to some fantastic recipes!

Hi Christine. Absolutely love your recipe card and the recipe of course. Would be lovely served warm with custard. Hmmm. You definitely had an early start this morning and still found time to make pancakes. Hope Justin has had a good day and has enjoyed himself. My girls are very fussy eaters and I find myself doing a few different dinners each night. I must be mad, but I would rather give them what they like. Looking forward to your next recipe card. Sounds delicious. Donna

Wow Christine that is a tad early to be getting up!
These cakes look fab. I make Banana cake all the time, but never thought of the choc chips in them, or making them in a muffin tin, (i use a loaf tin), these will go down a treat in my house.
All my lot eat wheatever I make, they tell me I am a brilliant cook....LOL I like to be in the kitchen, so it's not a chore for me, I am haooy cooking and try to do things like chinese, Italian foods, roast dinners and fish. My kids are great and eat anything. Debbiexx

You are going to need a nap..I think this is fantastic that they do this for the kids.. What a great opportunity to see if you like an occupation. Those muffins look sooo good. I made some pumpkin ones the other day.. Super easy.. One Spice cake mix, 1 cup of pumpkin and half a cup of water. That's it.. They are healthy too. Great recipe card.. I have my daughter's half done..
