Last year I made Christmas cards with buttons and ribbon...and it got quite expensive to mail them off, especially when you have over 80 of them to send off. So this year I am trying a little to keep a few of them fairly simple. Mo Digital had this image last year called " Boughs for the wreath" that I absolutely fell in love with. I coloured it with copics and with prismas, added some liquid applique for the snowfall in the background!
I hope to get back to posting a little bit more this week. Last week it was so hard to get into the craft room. The weather was so beautiful...so I took full advantage of it. Before you know it the snow will be falling and I won't want to step outside!!!
Thank-you so much for popping in for a visit!

Simple but stunning Christine! Such a gorgeous image with impeccable colouring my friend! The liquid applique just adds the perfect amount of dimension to the card! I don't blame you for enjoying last weeks sunshine - wasn't it just gorgeous!!

Beautiful card. I think that one would be regular mail. Phew, hard to downscale them eh? Just love this one. Interested in attending Scrapfest with me Sat. Let me know. I'm home in the morning.

I really love your work :)
A STUNNING card Christine. Just love the simplicity thereof. Agree with the embellishments, they can make the cards very heavy, which adds to the weight! 80 cards is a heck of a lot... good luck girl. hugs Sharon
Hi Chris - wow i love this .. this is one of my favourite images and you have coloured it so beautifully ( i daren't even try lol). That subtle dotty DP is just perfect for this snowy scene.

Hi Christine that is one beautiful card, I love how youve created the illusion of snow. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxxx
Christine, are you serious! 80? WOW, that's a lot of cards. Despite that, I hope I am on our list...LOL. Gorgeous card expertly coloured as always. Love the Home-for-the-Holidays feeling the image gives me. I must use more stitching on my cards--looks great on yours. The 3-D snow is fabby.
Hugs.

Gorgeous card Christine, with colouring like yours you don't need extra embellishment.
So precious, I just love images that touch the heart... :) Hugs
Christine, this is so beautiful. Love that image too. You have created such a lovely card, a gift in itself for some lucky recipient! I know what you mean about the postage when you add embellishment...same here.
Love the pumpkins on your blog panels!
