Polar Express....

I just got back from Scrapfest in Oshawa today...I am filled with lots of inspiration and lots of new goodies! What's better then all your favourite scrapbooking stores all under one roof!

One by one, I have been trying to get a head start on the Christmas cards. For this card I used a LOTV image that a wonderful and very sweet blogging friend lent me! Oh how I love this one! I also stamped at the bottom of the card some snowflakes using my 2009 Holiday Tag Collection from Papertrey. I just bought some liquid pearls in White Opal and placed that in the center of each snowflake...wonderful product that is for sure!

Nicky, a card making friend of mine gave me these wonderful clear plastic memo pads that she was able to purchase at the dollar store. I was never able to find them and she got her hands on some to give to me....thank-you so much Nicky. These are wonderful to decorate all up the way you wish. So I made some inserts for each side and stamped them up with the row of snowflakes, and added the white opal liquid pearls. I then made up a little Christmas bouquet for the top...

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Thank-you so much for popping in for a visit. Your encouraging and kind comments are so wonderful to recieve.

Is that my gift? I love how you wrapped it. How am I ever going to spoil it by opening it. Maybe I'll be able to hold out until Christmas, unlike some people I know. LOL. I love the stamp on the bottom of the card and how it looks like it's falling from the ribbon. Papertrey ribbon I'm sure.
Hugs xx

So where was I? I just can't seem to keep up at the moment. Clearly this delightful gift box and matching card is not one destined for the mail. It is, however, absolutely gorgeous!!! Hugs to you! Lesley
