All summer long my husband has been working on building an addition onto our house. We built our house 15 years ago and we both felt it was time to change things up a little, by taking walls out, make the family room larger with a stone fireplace with a wonderful mantel. Now the fireplace and mantel have not been completed but it definetly is in the works. I have a vision but it takes time....
I saw these adorable fabric pumpkins on Dawn's blog and I knew I had to give it a try! She provided a link to Amy's blog over at The Idea Room which provides you with the best tutorial on how to make these charming little pumpkins. I can just picture these little cuties sitting on my mantel for Halloween!
This is what I enjoy so much about blogging....the inspiration out there is endless!

Hi Christine wow they are lovely and will look gorgeous on your new mantlepiece, hope it wont be long before they are up there. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxx
These are very cute Christine, I should think they'll look very special on your completed mantel.
Very cute Christine. Love the fabric.
These turned out fantastic.. I love this pattern.. It is going to be a yearly thing for me.. I think you should stamp something on a piece of fabric and do your painting with fabric paint like on the onesie.. I am trying to see if you did that here or if it is the fabric.. AWESOMENESS Christine...:)
Hi Christine, I'm just back from my holidays and I'm struggling to get my mojo back, but you have made some gorgeous cards this last couple of weeks that have really inspired me.

Oh how ADORABLE are these!!...and I'm jealous that you'll have a mantel. I would LOVE a fireplace and manetel to decorate. :)
Hi Christine. These are absolutely gorgeous. Love the colours of your fabrics. I think it is always nice to have little home-made items around the home, if you can get the time to make them of course. It adds that little bit more of a personal homely touch. We don't really celebrate Halloween here. Hope you have had a nice weekend. Donna
They look wonderful Christine. Love the pumpkin fabric.
These are just darling. Did you stamp the white one, or is that the material. Hurry and get that fireplace built so you can share the pics.
Hugs xx

Oh how beautiful!! Love your pumpkins!! I would love to see photos when your fireplace and mantel are completed. I have a fireplace with a mantle that is carved by my hubby but not stone...a dream for a family room with a stone fireplace someday...

Something has gone wrong with my profile because I seem to have to enter who I am and my URL everytime I leave a comment and usually, the blogging system just knows me. So I'm not leaving a comment on every post but I loved your last creation. Oh so sweet! And I love this embossed and glittery collection too! Hugs, Lesley
