Season mix up....

Tomorrow is the first day of fall here in Ontario...so why am I posting a wintery card. I really want to get a head start on Christmas cards this year. When I visit all the wonderful blogs out there, alot of you are posting the most gorgeous Christmas cards. So I am feeling quite inspired by you all! I was at an all day crop at Pointers ( a wonderful scrapbooking supplies store) Saturday, and Sue had this adorable snowman stamp....She was so kind to let me stamp him up for my card today. Thank-you Sue...you know my love affair with snowman!

I used some Papertrey felt I just purchased and made some snowdrifts for my little guy to stand in. I then cut out some trees and then coloured my snowman with prismas, cut him out and then placed him on the card! Lots of glitter all around, but you can't seem to see it in this picture!

Well I am off to get some things done before I have to run kids to volleyball practice, jobs...you know the drill when you have kids! I actually really enjoy it....they grow up way to fast! Before you know it they won't be around as much and I will miss them!

Hi Christine, wow this is so gorgeous. love the papers you have used, and I can see why you love that snowman, he's gorgeous.

I know what you mean aboout the children growing up, as one of my friends always says, "they are only borrowed" we have them wanting to be with us for such a short time so we have to enjoy every minute.
back soon, love chris xx

Hiya Christine from a very sick bed right now... I just love your first Christmas card for this year - adorable. Must have been tricky cutting out that twig of an arm... take my hat off to you, well done. Also just posted 2 of my first Christmas cards. Take care, hugs Sharon

You know I love snowmen too and this is gorgeous. Isn't it a shame that glitter doesn't show up that well in photos as there are so many sparkly cards out there. I love the snowdrifts. Hope to see you playing at Winter Wonderland more often now. Marianne x

Hi Christine. Love your card. The colours and snowman papers are great. Love the snow drifts and your cut out snowman image is very cute. Glad I wasn't trying to cut the arms though, looks very tricky. Nice sentiment. Donna

He sure looks like a right jolly little guy. Very cute, and love the use of the felt. It's nice to see it "up close." I've thought about getting some so guess now I'll just have to. TFS!
