Happy Harvest....

The weather here has most definetly shifted gears to fall! We have gone from high humid temps, to a very cool air mass. The leaves will be changing colour and it will be time to bring out the sweaters....and maybe a little more time to get to the craftroom.

For my card I used the adorable little Leisel from C.C. Designs, added some homemade pumpkins that I made cut out of cardstock added the swirls with a black marker. I coloured Leisel with copics and added a little glitter to her wings!

Here in Ontario I have heard from the local farmers that the pumpkins are about a month ahead of schedule. I guess with all the wonderful sunshine we had this summer it made for a great growing season!

Just wanted to shout out to Sue and Nikki...thank-you for a wonderful day yesterday! Lots of craft talk...so good for the soul! Have a wonderful fall like day everyone!

A beautiful card Christine, just love your cards. What started out as a lovely Spring day, has turned coolish, so we're not quite there yet. Our summer really only starts in November. Enjoy the change of the Season.

Such a sweet card, Christine! Love that little image and your "homemade" pumpkins are great. Hope your weather doesn't cool off too quickly. Have a great week.

Oh to color like you with copics!! Wow! This really is just soooo very adorable. I know I say that all the time about your cards, but really.....I was looking to see how you did those pumpkins, I love the swirls on them, such a nice little addition! Very cutie potootie card!!!!
P.S. I forgot to tell you the color I used on that Santa was Aged Mahogany and Black Soot. This color has a more berry color to it than the fired brick which has more oranges.

Lovin your home made pumpkins - they're excellent! Great doodling too. Somehow pumpkins always seem more pumpkiny with swirls! I also love how the background of your blog changes with the seasons. That's soooo cool! Hugs, Lesley

Christine, I think this Swiss Pixie with her wheel barrow is my favorite. Your colouration is always fabulous. Love your designer pumpkins...hee hee.
I heard about the early-ripening pumpkins too and wondered if there'll be any left for Halloween. If not we may have to resort to cardboard pumpkins, you think? LOL.

Hugs,
Norma

PS. I love the way you change the design of your blog to suit the season or occasion.
