Cookie jar classic....

I have been searching for some time now for what I think is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe. I have tried quite a few and this recipe seems to be the one! Yes the one, the one that just makes your mouth water and your heart melt!!!!
And of course I HAD to make a recipe card! I have to thank Nilla for this wonderful image she sent me. Nilla it is just perfect for my recipe cards!!! I also used a favourite itty bitty hot chocolate and cookies stamp from the Karen Lockhart collection. If you have never checked out Ellen Hutsons site it is a must for the itty bitty stamps.

Here is the recipe in full:

Cream butter and brown sugar in large bowl. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Beat until smooth. Combine next 4 ingredients in small bowl. Add to butter mixture in 2 additions, mixing well after each addition until no dry flour remains. Add chocolate chips.Mix well. Bake at 350 oven for 10-15 minutes!

I hope this is one you will love too. Have a wonderful day, and thank-you so much for coming by and visiting. It is so appreciated!

ADORABLE Christine... what a super little stamp and so beautifully coloured. Will have to stay away from the cookie jar myself, as I've gained too much weight this winter and spring is around the corner... oh brother...!!!

The best, huh?...okay, you twisted my arm (lol!). I'm going to print off the recipe and try it. I've been in a baking mood lately. I tried a recipe over the weekend for apple crisp cookies...they were good but nothing to jump up and down about, kwim? Know why I tried apple crisp cookies?....because I've been craving it ever since you posted your apple crisp recipe. I should have just made the apple crisp or my MIL's apple crisp and been done with it, lol! Don't know why I had to try the cookie route.

Wow, sorry, I wrote a book there. AWESOME images and so beautifully colored! :)
