friend....

Things have been so hectic around here, that it has been leaving little time for my poor ol blog. My internet has not been working so well lately so I had someone come in and fix it so it works properly! We are also putting an addition on our house that meant we had to disconnect our air conditioner....during a heat wave, and another is on its way tomorrow! Hopefully it will be hooked up by the weekend again! So in the meantime I decided to make a card up using my fun flock. I had a little mini stamp that did little leafs, so I repeated this on the left and right side of the oval, then added a green oval line on the top and bottom to complete what I wanted it to look like. I then stamped the sentiment which I love, in CTMH garden green ink. Then I glued some fun flock to resemble some flowers in the leaves, cut out some daisies and placed a yellow dot using my copic markers.

I had used my distress inks this week on some wonderful Hanglar stamps, so I thought she would be just perfect on the side!

I was out a little today to visit the fabric shop and bought some yummy fabrics to make something with it. I have an idea and will definetly post it when my project is done. I just wanted to show you how pretty the fabric was I bought....it has summer written all over it! Dawn...when I saw this fabric I thought of you! You are the inspiration behind this project!

Gorgeous card Christine and your colouring is fantastic. Those fabric look so lovely. There is a large fabric shop in a nearby town and I love browsing in there. Trouble is I can't sew for toffee so I always come away empty handed! Maybe I'll get some next time to use on a card.
