Fabric Paints....

When I first started my blog just over a year ago I never imagined the endless possibilities that could come out of it. I just love trying new things and when I saw Janiel's blog a couple of months ago...she did some painting on fabric....oh my goodness...I so had to try this out. So with the last couple of weeks being so crazy it just did not seem possible to sit down and try it. But last night I said that was it...the blog is a callin'.....lol!

I bought some fabric paint at Michaels and just started experimenting with a little onesie baby outfit....what fun was this. I had some new Hanglars I had just received from Ebay.....and as they say, the rest is history. Thank-you Janiel for inspiring me...this is not the last of this experiment...another thing I am hooked too.

I really hope everyone is enjoying their summer, we have been experiencing a heat wave which for our family is not so good...we are putting an addition on our house, which meant moving the air conditioner. Which means no air conditioning for us until the work is somewhat done. It was 92 in our house yesterday. A little warm...and that is with a nice breeze out here in the country side. I really hope to get back into a little blog hopping today. So nice of you all to pop in for a visit. I soooo appreciate the visits.

What a gorgeous set Christine, you have done a fabulous job with the fabric paints, I can't wait to see more. Poor you in all that heat, I know what it is like but I don't think I could survive without our air con!

This is super duper cute. I love the image and your colouring is great. You can do the same thing with Copics or promarkers (you get the picture) and they are totally wash proof.

Christine, you sure do get great ideas that make people want to try also. You are such an inspiration to the rest of us. This is way too cool! Wow, what an excellent job you did with the fabric paint. Love the matching card.

No AC for me either. I'm counting on the air flow from the open windows and doors. Good thing my place is facing north or else it would feel like an oven in here.

Hugs.

Oh wow Christine, this is fabulous. I'm inspired every time I visit your blog and this creation is really special. We could do with AC here at the moment. We have temps of 30 degrees + in the south while the north of the country have cold & wet weather. I'm not complaining though, I'm definitely a hot weather gal!

Holy smokes how did you do this...I just have to know. I cannot believe the shading you got.. What a sweet sweet image.. This would be so cute on a bag or something.. LOVE this idea.. I am assuming you are using stazon.. What kind of fabric paint? Did you apply with a paint brush.. I think we need a tutorial..

Stay cool. It is so hot here too.. In the 90s each day.. The humidity is like 400%..:(

Well, I'm back from my hols (as you know) I had a lovely time. I'm all unpacked and laundered but I've been manic with work and I have a ton of card making to catch up in addition to commentary to post so I'll be dashing through, Christine. This little number is tooo cute to pass by though! Lovely, Hugs, Lesley
