Bubble Gum Ice Cream.....

Happy Monday to all...last night we woke up to quite a thunderstorm here! Wow, lots of lightning and lots of rain, which we needed so badly!

Stamptacular Sunday has a great challenge for us all to enter. They want you to create a card or a project using the colours of your favourite ice cream sundae. When I was a kid I just loved the ice cream that had the juicy pink gum all mixed in! So for my card...I made sure I had lots of pinks! I cut out a scalloped circle using my scalloped circle nestabilities, then folded it 3 times, then cut the top a little. Cut this piece in half and there I had my skirt for my apron. I then cut the two scallops for my top part of the apron. For my roses, I used felt and cut a piece of rick rack strip and then rolled it all in a ball to form a rose. Sewed it at the back to keep it all together!

Have a fantastic day, and thank-you so much for popping in to say hello!

  1. Wow - you've totally blown me away with this card girly! I LOVE your creativeness on this making the apron - it is so adorable!! And the rose made with rick rack is perfect - just love it! And bubble-gum ice-cream - yum!!
Enjoy your day! I spontaneously signed Joel up for art classes this week (the art store called and said they had spare spaces as someone had dropped out) so he is SUPER excited!!

  14. very cute card. that dress is genius! I love your mix of polka dots and gingham.
But the first (and LAST) time i had bubble gum ice cream it was awful! I got only halfway through my cone and already had a wad of gum in my mouth that had my jaws locked up and drooling all down the front of me... I was a KID, of course I was too stupid to spit out the free gum!
Thanks for sharing your yummy interpretation of our challenge this week at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.
