Teacher gifts.....

I am so sorry for the lack of posts lately...but our school has so many things going on that I love to help out with...such as track and field and our grade 8's graduation! Now for me this time year is a sad one but also a happy time! I enjoy spending time with the kids throughout the summer but it also means that another year has gone! I have been very busy making some gifts for my sons teachers. I have known them for 9 years and truly appreciated all they have done for the kids.

I have used my trusty ol justrite stamps that allow me to personalize these cards. Now my theme here is strawberries to go with the homemade jam that will go with the gift. At Allsorts Challenge they have a great challenge to put this project into: Strawberries and cream!

Inside the card I have placed my recipe that I will use to make my strawberry jam that will go with the gift. Now strawberries are just about ready here in Ontario, so I am just waiting until I can go and pick them to make my jam! I will be posting my jam jars at a later post, so stay tuned!

Now what teacher does not keep lots of notes.....hopefully my notepads will come in handy for them. I used my Papertrey stamp set "Vintage Picnic" to keep my theme going and my justrite stamp set too. Love to personalize it up! I don't think you can see it, but I have put lots of glitter on the strawberries too.

Now I am off to finish up lots of grade 8 graduation decorations...lots to finish up! Have a wonderful day...and thank-you so much for taking time out of your day to come and visit!

Beautiful gifts for the teachers Christine, wow you are so talented. I am sure they will LOVE them. Wish I were one of your kiddies teachers. Will pop around later to see your homemade strawberry jam. It must be one of my fave's. Have you ever tried it on a slice of toast, first put down some peanut butter and place the strawberry jam on top of that... oh my goodness me... yummy! Would love to hear what tickles your tastebuds. hugs Sharon

These little notepads are sooooo lovely. I bet the teachers love you!!! I had to stop commenting on your recipe cards (what with my diet and all) but they too are fabulous. I just couldn't take any more toblerone squares or cheese cake. And just when I thought it was "safe to go back in the water" I saw your lovely little June calendar page and it too was food related. I was so hungry I could have eaten the cricket in addition to the hotdogs, cake and watermelon! You are making such lovely things but my diet is going to h**l! Hugs to you, Lesley
