Today is the first day of Summer Holidays for the kids....I love this time of year! So as you can see I did not make a card, I made the kids some cookies to mark the occasion! I saw these adorable little palm tree cookie cutters and decided to make them up! I had these little white pails I had bought a couple years ago at Michaels and always wanted to use them, but did not know what do with them....well, voila........I stuck my palm tree inside of them with some brown sugar to resemble the sand at the beach!!!! What do ya think!!! The kids loved them. I used my sugar cookie recipe, which I posted a couple of days ago. So hip hip horray for all of us celebrating a wonderful summer with our kids!!!!! Enjoy your day!

When we watched the draft a few of the kids that played hockey with my youngest son from here were drafted... Very fun to watch that. I so wish that son's lungs were normal since illness and he could have kept going. It might have been hom. WHO KNOWS... LOL
