Someone Special!

Thank goodness it is Friday and the weather is suppose to be beautiful.... I am really tired of the rain and the cool temperatures....we need some sun!
Cute Card Thursdays challenge is " Someone Special". I love doing cards for someone special. Now this card does not have a home yet but it will!

I tried to take a close up just to show you that I popped the hat on the chair. I thought it might give it that 3 demensional look! I coloured my image with copics. These are two new stamps that I just bought from Pointers, a local craft store. They are from Great Impressions.

What is a card without my matching recipe card! This recipe holds a really special spot in my heart. My grandmother gave me this one and it's a good one! I tried to give it that ol country feel.

I hope you have a wonderful day. Thank-you so much for coming and visiting!

We've had nothing but rain most of the week too so I feel your pain and need for some sunshine. Your coloring on these is AMAZING, gf!

Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog, and for your question, I use the colours antique linen (as a base), and walnut stain and vintage photo (not much, just a little) for the hair.
Hugs, Camilla.

Stunning work on both the card and the recipe card. Card is beautiful and love the way you made the hat look like it was hanging on the chair, just pops, very clever!! Such a nice memory with the recipe card too.
