At Stampers Dream I purchased this binder which you can doll up the way you like, so I brought out my favourite October Afternoon papers and used my new stamp set "Cookin Up Memories"
also from Stampers Dream! I love this binder as it comes with 4x6 recipe card sleeves which really protects your cards from any mess.
This recipe is great for those really hot days of summer.....for this recipe card I used Papertrey's stamp set "Day at the Beach". I had lots of fun with this stamp set. I used the little lime wedges to stamp up the background and then used my tulip glass and coloured it with the copics....then stamped the icecubes with a white stamp pad, sprinkled with some glitter just to give it that ice look. I think it worked ok!
Now what is summer without time by the bonfire! So you have to have smores for sure. I used the Stampin Up stamp set " Under the stars". This one I loved doing...I tried to make the marshmellow look, gooey and a little roasted. I used liquid applique on the marshmellow and used the my heat gun to heat it up to give it that puffy look...added a little copic marker to the top and voila...a cooked marshmellow!
It's a little early here for the peaches to come. But this recipe is one of my favourites. I used the Papertrey stamp set " Vintage Picnic".
Well that is all so far I have done, but I am on a mission to get alot more done for my booklet.
Have a wonderful weekend! Thank-you so much for popping in to visit, I so appreciate you taking time out of your day to come!
I have entered this post into two challenges, suggested by Lisa Jane. Thank-you Lisa Jane for the idea! I have never entered into these challenges and thought what a great idea! I am entering into the Papertake Weekly, which is something different and One Stop Crafts Challenge which is anything but a card!

These are beautiful Christine, I think it is such a great idea and I love the fact that each card has a plastic sheet to keep your recipe protected. Like I said on my comment yesterday, you always seem to have the perfect stamp for each one too!!

Hi Christine
wow what a gorgeous recipe book, i would have to leave that out on show, great idea, make a lovely gift, sue,x
Great idea and the recipes look wonderful too.
This is amazing Christine. Such details like the ice cubes. It is fantastic and such a lovely keepsake. Would cost a fortune in a shop. We don't have smores here but they sound fab. I have seen them on menus in the US but never had enough room left to try them. I'm sure they are low calorie, lol! Marianne x
