Sewing Challenge!

Wow...what a week I have had! Busy, Busy... Stamptacular Sunday Challenge blog has a great challenge for us: STITCHING. I love stitching on my cards...nice and easy that is for sure. I think it just gives it that real complete look. For my card today I made a baby shower card using some really vintage looking papers. Very simple I know but time was again, not on my side this week.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased this adorable stamp set called Baby Dear from Cornish Heritage Farms. You can purchase this from Ellen Hutson. I have used this stamp set quite a bit and really love it.
Here is my son Justin and I at the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City baseball game...not the greatest picture, but heck...we are totally having a great time! Summer has started for me that is for sure, after going to a ball game!

Well...I am really hoping to get back to some serious card making and I really want to get back into blog hopping....I need some inspiration to come my way and what better way then to visit everyone out there. I also have to tend to some graduation details for my son's school. My son is graduating from Grade 8 this year and they need some decorations for the evening. Our theme this year is " The Enchanted Amazon". Any ideas?

Hi Christine,
First of all a beautiful card, not a bit basic at all. Gorgeous images.
The photo of you and your son is so lovely, you are both look like you are having a great time. What about using a cricut machine and the animal catridge, and what about making a great big tree with handprint leaves, you could use family members hands either paint them or draw round them, they make great leaves. Different colour greens....I am sorry but I am a Playgroup Supervisor and these are the things I do on a daily basis, need any more help, I will think about it. The theme is great though.

Maybe a quick card Christine but still beautiful. I can identify with lack of time this week. Had no time for blog hopping. Love the card in your previous post too. Just gorgeous.
