Some bunny loves you...

Spring has definetly arrived here in Belhaven, Ontario! This weather has put the spring in my step for sure. Magnolia Down Under has a wonderful challenge this week:
Stitching Real or Fake

I love stitching on my cards, I just think it completes it. Last Friday night my friend Carolyn and I attended a wonderful crop at Deanna's. It was amazing to crop with so many creative and wonderful people. Deanna made homemade pizza and cupcakes. Not only is she an amazing cook...she can scrapbook like a dream. Unfortunetly she is so busy she cannot fit in any time to have a blog. I will have to work on her so she can share her talent with you all.

For my Easter card, Carolyn let me use her adorable Tilda in her little Easter costume. Thank-you Carolyn for sharing her with me. I sooooo appreciate it. I also want to thank Liza for giving me some helpful tips on shading on your card with dots, using the tips of your copics. I love that look...but I am still a work in progress!

Thank-you so much for taking time out of your day to come and visit. I just love your visits!

Hi Christine, thanks for your lovely comment earlier and your card is so beautiful! We used the same sweet Tilda LOL and we both coloured her suit pink :D!! Wonderful colouring, I love how you used the fence and the cloud background is gorgeous. Chris :)

You have made three lovely cards recently, Christine. Sorry I haven't been by! They are all lovely but I am especially fond of this little Tilda in her costume. I really like the pointilistic ground and the cute little fence and the miniature gingham butterflies are really lovely touch. Some bunny is going to love this card! Hugs to you, Lesley

AT LAST!!! Spring has arrived for you! So glad, I know you were so ready for it. Love your Tilda in her bunny suit, she is precious. Love the checkered ribbon, and your Copic technique looks great! I'm going to have to try that. Thanks for the link to Liza's blog, her work is incredible! She makes the coloring look so easy... Enjoy your wonderful weather! Hugs, J:)

I love this Christine and I agree, stitching does really finish a card. I don't think I can justify buying a sewing machine just for my cards though!! Is that a stamped border behind Tilda?

Absolutely darling. Sure looks like Spring for this little bunny too. Your coloring is amazing and love the soft colors. I preordered some stamps over a month ago. Looks like might get Easter stamps by Halloween!!! Yikes, Magnolia needs to design and distribute long before the holiday you need the stamp for.......love yours though.

Aaaawwww, Christine, this is just adorable. My wish list is definitely getting longer. I just love this colour scheme. Another fab card.

I think I know what you mean by shading with dots, but to be sure you're going to have to show us. I love learning new techniques and tips.

Hugs.
