here comes the bride...

Good Friday to everyone...oh the sun is just a beaming here in southern Ontario! How wonderful is that. It is suppose to get up to +11 by Sunday! Lovin' that! Last night I was able to get into the craft room and make a little card for a bride to be....

I bought the C.C. Design Spring Kit and there was this adorable image. I just fell in love with her. So I coloured her with distress inks...which by the way I am really loving. I popped the bouquet of flowers just to give it a little dimension, then the fun part, which you cannot see in this picture, I added lots of glitter to her pretty dress!

Today my son is in a hockey tournament...so we will be at the arena all day. No crafting for this gal! It should be a fun day!

Oh wow, she sure is the blushing bride isn't she Christine! Your colouring is exquisite with those distress inks. The simple elegant layout draws all the attention to the bride - just as it should do, LOL!!! Love the bow with the cherry blossom on the top!
Have fun at the arena today - hope you stay warm!

You and I, Christine, are incredibly in sinc! We both had a bit of a quilt thing going on (thank you for the tip by the way - I spent 2 hours on a Papertrey challenge site!) and now we are both doing wedding cards. This one is lovely. Your colouring of the bride is incredibly soft and just right and the papers are perfect! Loving it! Hugs to you! Lesley
