Good Wednesday to all....it has been quite a busy March Break here with the kids off school. The weather has been gorgeous and we are taking full advantage of it. So this means I have not been in the craft room much! I was however very excited to be asked by Sharon over at the Truly Scrumptious Challenge Blog, to be a Guest Designer this week....

I just love the challenge this week..First off is the sketch to follow, then the optionals extra challenge is to create a "Quilt Effect" background on your card! What better way to tackle that sewing machine technique. I cut small squares and then sewed them on the card to give it that quilt look! I really enjoyed it! My wonderful image was from the new Karen Lockhart release that a wonderful blogging friend stamped up for me. She was so sweet to do this for me...as she knows how much I love Karen Lockhart stamps!!!
Hop on over to the Truly Scrumptious Blog and enter a card or a project. I really think you will have fun with this one!!!!
Have a wonderful day...and if the sun is shining were you are...ENJOY!

Wow, guest designer, this is a wonderful card! Love the quilt effect and that lovely watering can with flowers. I'll try to jump in on this one as I love the sketch and theme. So glad you're having such nice weather. Our weather is definitely colder than normal for here.

Hi Christine, I always think soft pink and green is a great colour combo for a mother - perhaps it's because my Mum's lounge has been those colours for years. I love your little watering can image and the quilting is great. I'm too scared to use a sewing machine on my cards! Lovely!!! Warmest wishes, Lesley
