friendship....

Good Thursday to all...
I must say so many of you make distressing look so easy and gorgeous! I am still just trying to learn all the little tricks. I must say I do love working with them though, and now I see they have come out with some more beautiful colours.

My girlfriend Carolyn and I ordered these wonderful flowers and now I am just trying to learn how to properly place them on a card. For my leaves I did not have a proper punch to use so I just cut my own in the shape I wanted and then folded them in half to give the look I was after. After seeing my leaves I wish I had placed some glitter on them!!!

My friendship sentiment is from Papertrey ink, and the Just Because is from Ellen Hutson's stamps.

Well I am off to get the kids to school. Have a wonderful day...and thank-you so much for all your visits, I so appreciate them!!!

Many of you have asked for the template for the Easter basket I made on yesterdays post! It does not seem to link you to the direct template...so I have tried to put a direct link and it just does not want to co-operate! So if you go to:

http://www.stampinpretty.typepad.com/files/round-top-box3.pdf Try this out and it should take you to the template!!!

What a delightful card Christine. Love everything about it. Such lovely soft colours. Pink is one of my ultimate fave's. We call these flowers Cherry Blossoms, I've just ordered some in all the colours and can't wait to receive them. Your leaves look fab, by the way. Hugs Sharon

Stunning Christine! I love everything about this card; lovely papers! Your Tilda's are coloured to perfection and your colour palette is so right for the images and beautiful flowers. The sentiment is on the button as it were and I so appreciate your understanding comment left on my most recent post. You are, however, one of the few, whom I hope to stay in more regular contact with! Hugs to you, Lesley

Christine, stunning gate-fold card. Love the two Tildas in all those pinks. Fabulous colouring. The flowers are to die for and your self-cut leaves look fantastic even without the glitter. It's fab.

Hugs.
