Little Jessica.....

I have to admit, it was really hard to put all the Christmas images away and start bringing out the others! I loved so many of the images they had out there this year! But on to some fresh new looks! I am thinking spring and its only the end of December...can you tell...I am so not a winter person. I would love to build a house right on the beach and have breakfast every morning on my porch watching the ocean...not snow!

My niece has her first birthday coming up so I just could hardly wait to make her a pretty, girly card....How can you resist the temptation of the pinks and the ginghams! I did a little paper piecing for her dress and coloured the rest in with lyras and prisma pencil crayons...and added a little glitter to her flower!

Below is a picture of the inside of the card...I have been so inspired by so many of you finishing the insides of your cards that I had to try! Well, I am hooked for sure!
I used the following punches to make my flowers as I do not have many in my stash. I then used the sponge to dust some pink chalk on the edges of the flowers. Then added a green brad to the center.

I had to post a picture of our black fur ball. Christmas has just worn him out! So out came his favourite pillow and a nap was on his menu for the day!

I'm SOOOO not a winter person either, Christine. Can't wait for Spring.

LOVE your card with those sweet, soft, girly papers. AMAZING job on the inside, too. The layout with the girl behind the circle and DP strip looks great!!

A beautiful card Christine and I love the inside - something I'm going to try and do more this year. I'm definitely a warm weather person too. Snow is OK for a day or two but give me a holiday on a beach over one on the slopes any day! Wishing you a very Happy & Heathly New Year.
