Countdown to Christmas Card...

I received this adorable Tilda holding presents image from a wonderful and very special blogging friend Danielle! Thank-you Danielle so much for this image! When I saw this image I thought I would try my hand at making a Countdown to Christmas Card. I saw a turtorial on it but I could not make head or tail of it, so I decided to try it on my own. Unfortunetly I could not begin to try and tell you how I did it. It was trial and error! So I do apologize for not being able to share this with you....

The scalloped dial has all the days of December on it and you can spin the dial so it shows you how many more days until Christmas. For me, it is an excuse to use a Magnolia image! One thing I do know...is I need to invest in more background images for Tilda...maybe after Christmas! Or maybe if Magnolia ships there Winter Package soon! I'm still waiting!

Wednesday it looks like we are in for our first snowstorm of the year...so lots of time to make cards and finish up some more Christmas gifts! Oh the holidays..busy...busy!
I have had a few request for the turtorial on this card here is the site for step by step instructions!

Really sweet Tilda! I like the idea of the wheel. I bet it has to be just the right size to line up properly - you did a GREAT job! Your "trial and error" was a big success! Hugs, J:)
