Christmas Goodies...ready to wrap!

Happy Thursday to all...Now... I know part of having a blog is all about the clear pictures and the beautiful displays in which your projects appear on your blog but I have to tell you... a photographer I am not! Love doing the projects but struggle with the appearance they may have on the blog!!!!

Below is a picture of the recipe book I have been working on for my SIL. She has hinted a couple of times to me that she wished she had something to put all her recipes into! Well...I had to jump on that opportunity to whip up a little something special for her! I added all my favourite recipes to it as well! I still have a few more recipes to add!

Many of you have asked to see the quilts I have been making for some of my family. I took a picture of the one that I made last week for my sister in law. I had a hard time putting a picture on the blog that would show the whole quilt! I hope I have been able to give you all a little peek!

I hope all your holiday preparations have been going well! It's funny how we have all year but we cram it all into the last couple of weeks! I may of course just be speaking for myself here! LOL!

Have a fantastic day!

What gorgeous homemade gifts Christine! Your recipe booklet is stunning - if each recipe page is done like that, wow, what an absolute treasure!! I'm sure your SIL will LOVE it and know how much love and hardwork went into making it! Gorgeous quilt too - you are quite the talented crafter aren't you!!!
Hugs, Danielle
ps. I'm just like you - leave everything to the last minute - I tend to work better under stress too!

Gorgeous. I love that recipe book, you're so clever. The quilt is so lovely too and if the stitching on my Christmas card is anything to go by it will be even more beautiful in real life. I'm happy to say I'm all prepared but then I haven't made all those beutiful things you have made, homemade cookies etc. We definitely need to start making Christmas cards in January next year! The quilt...oh my word, it's GORGEOUS!! I'm so jealous that you can do that. I would love to learn how to quilt someday. Oh, and you did a FINE job with your photos and showing all the patterns in the quilt!
