Cross Stitching?

I have tried something a little different for this fall card. I actually stamped my image onto Cross Stitch fabric and then coloured it in with copics. I cut it to the size I wanted for my card and then frayed the edges so it would give it that old fashioned look to it! I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp the image! This was alot faster then actual cross stitching! Maybe not the most beautiful results as cross stitching but it certainly was fun to try!

Stamps: Papertrey
Paper: Kraft cardstock from Papertrey
Ribbon: Papertrey
Button: CTMH

What a great idea - I would never have thought of that. I know what you mean about being quicker than actual cross stitch. Hardly done any cross stitch for ages cos you get much quicker results with card making lol!!

Christine, you are soooo creative!!! What a fabulous card - and the image has turned out absolutely gorgeous! Nice to see the copics work so well on cross stitch fabric! Definitely has to be way faster than cross stitching it!!

Hi Christine

sorry I've got a bit behind the last few days with my blog hopping. Wow you've made some fab stuff, that punmpkin Tilda below is gorgeous and this cross stitching is beautiful. I do not have the patience myself so always admire anyone who does! Looks fab against the polka background
