...the CHOIR....

What an eventful day I had today...our BIG black lab was sprayed by a skunk at 6 oclock this morning! Wow..did he get it good! So off I went to get anything to get rid of that smell! I finally phoned my breeder where we got our fur ball from and she said "LISTERINE". Well it was the only thing that worked right away! Thank goodness! It makes me mad that this happened as I am so careful not to let him out at night without me there, but this morning I thought its too COLD out for me...oh he will be ok...NOT!
I actually tried to find a little skunk image to make a card to reflect the kind of day I had!
But found nothing! LOL !

So here is my little gang from Stamping Bella called "THE CHOIR". I coloured with copics and placed lots of glitter here and there! I sponged with Versa Magic colour wheat.

I hope you are having a great day where you are!

Oh no, Christine!! Riley got sprayed awhile ago as well, it's awful. Mind you, he didn't get it full force. I feel for ya. I've never heard of listerine, I'll have to make note of that. We used SKUNK OFF and it works pretty good. Poor Knight!! Poor YOU!! Your card is really cute, the image is adorable and matches your paper perfectly! I hope you have a better evening.

What an adorable card, Christine. What a cute image! I'm sorry you had such a "stinky" morning. Glad you found out what would take the smell out. Disney was fun but the whole time was hectic and it was nice to get home. Do I sound whiney? :) Love your card.

Oh no, what a 'stinking' day you've had (sorry for the pun, just couldn't resist, lol)!!! I do love your card though Christine - the choir image is adorable and the music paper is perfect! The gold bow is a beautiful touch!

oh my GOODNESS! what a horrible way to kick off the day!

for future reference, TOMATO JUICE is the way to go! bathe him in that (a few cans usually does the trick), and it's gentler on his fur and skin, and it's cheaper!

your card, though, is just fabulous. :)

Your card is fabulous and the papers are perfect for the image.

Oh Christine, sorry to hear about the skunky business. Thanks for the tip on the Listerine. I'll keep that in mind, just in case, as we have skunks running around the city here also.
Your choir group is adorable. Hope they sing as beautiful as they look. Terrific card.
