Back to School....

I have noticed alot of people having been posting some really cute back to
school cards on their blogs so I thought I would try to make some as well!

I actually have made a card and a notepad to match it! I took a 9x6 pad that
I bought at the dollar store and then went to a printing company and had them
cut it half. I then took the kraft stock paper from papertrey and cut the paper
to 9 x 6 1/2". Then I just scored it at 3" and at 3 1/2". Then glue the entire
bottom of the pad to the right hand side of the scored kraft paper. Then just embellish
it any way that you like! You could even do this at Christmas time for gifts...that
way people can have a Things to Do: list.

Above is my card that I made to match the note pad. I used the Papertrey stamp set
Vintage Picnic. Oh my goodness..it is so versatile, as it comes with all sorts of seasons.

I took a picture of the inside as well for you so you would have a little bit
of an idea of what I did. I hope this all makes sense.
Have a fantastic weekend..I'm off to our end of season soccer tournament!

Hi Christine

These are really sweet - and as you say perfect for little gifts at Christmas etc.

They are so neat and look really well made.

The papers are great and your image.

Hope you enjoyed your soccer tournament.

These are both great, I'm very tempted to give the note pad a try, and that picnic basket stamp is simply gorgeous.
