Happy Sunday Everyone...the weather is still not cooperating here, just gloomy and rainy! Last year at this time we were still wearing shorts it was so nice! Only in Ontario do you get this kind of unpredictable weather. This is probaly why I am making so many winter cards...I know what is coming. "WINTER". This card was made with one of my Elzybells stamps from last year. I coloured her with copics and added the liquid applique around her coat and the top of her hat. I added a little around her to make it look like snow falling.
Well, I am off to check out Stamptaculars challenge and see what I can come up with for that!
Have a great day!

Hi Chrsitine. The weather was awful yesterday in Maine, pouring wiht rain. In Cape Cod today and the sun is shining. Love the seasonal look to your blog. Gorgeous winter cards, love that snowed in one particularly. Must go, sun is shining and Cape Cod is waiting. Marianne x
Love this Christine - the colours are fab and the musical paper is awesome! Really loving the simple layout too of this card - beautiful work! This weather is making me feel in such a slump - can't seem to get motivated into my craft room at all :( Hopefully later today ....
Hugs, Danielle

This is adorable Christine, such a cute image. You asked about colouring with distress inks. I find them really easy and forgiving to work with but the key is to use good quality watercolour paper. The choice of colours is a bit limited but I want to gradually buy the refill bottles so then you can mix colours to create new ones.
Christine this is adorable, such a sweet image and your liquid applique looks fab

Love your colors on this one, Christine. We definately aren't having very co-operative weather for sure. Makes staying indoors a little easier.
